NEXUS (Cyber Fest)

Students of our school participated in an Inter School Competition, “NEXUS” organized by Delhi Public School, Greater Noida, Gamma II. It is the annual IT fest in which all DPS core schools of Delhi NCR and Top Schools of Delhi, Noida and Greater Noida Participatd.

Pragyan School Greater Noida organised on event of Inter school Cultural Competition named "Rhythms o tradition ( folk dance), In which our school DPS SEC 122, Noida was Invited to participate.There were many categories like dance, music, Art, Nukkad Natak, Poem recitation etc. This Event was held on 10th July 2024. We participated in dance competition named "Fusion folk". Around 22 teams were there for dance competition. Students of grade VI-VIII presented fusion folk dance. Students performed with full confidence on stage. There expression were very good and Co-ordination was commendable.

Dialectic Dash,Inter school Debate Competition

The event was held at Shiv Nadar School, Noida. It was based on Asian Parliamentary debate format where 9 student participants of our school were divided into a pair of three teams. Each team was either given the role of Government or the Opposition. The motions to be debated were based on themes like Family, Individual Choice, Popular culture, Social Movements. The motions were released on the spot on the day of the event after teams were matched up against each other. Participants were given 40 minutes time to prepare as a team. The first speaker from the team would be Prime Minister or Leader of the Opposition followed by Second Speaker who is the Deputy PM or Deputy leader of the opposition. The last speaker from each side was Whip followed by Reply Round.
The teams from DPS 122 Noida faced three rounds of knockouts out of which Team 3 and Team 2 won one each

Spell Bee English Quiz

Spelling is an important aid in reading English language. It helps in connecting sounds and letters. Being confident in spellings lead to confidence in all aspects of literacy. Keeping the same in mind an Inter Class Spell Bee Quiz was conducted for the students of Class II. This competition helped them to improve their spellings, increase vocabulary, learn concepts and develop the use of correct English.An audition round was conducted on 23.9.24, the shortlisted candidates from all the sections then competed against each other in the final round on 30.9.24.

Mind Masters – G.K. Quiz

General knowledge is an essential component of a child’s intelligence and fosters understanding of different cultures and perspectives.
To introduce our children to the power of General Knowledge,a quiz, ‘Mind Masters,’ was conducted on 3 rd September 2024 for class III students, Eight teams, each comprising two participants, made it to the final round. ‘Hindi and Sanskrit Language Fest’ was held in Delhi Public School ,Gautam Buddh Nagar. Students of Delhi Public School , sector 122,Noida participated in Hindi vaad-Vivaad Pratiyogita,Natak Manchan Pratiyogita , Hasya Kavita Pratiyogita and Shlok Gayan Pratiyogita for classes 4-8. GLOBE TROTTER: QUIZ COMPETITION, 27 July, 2023

Quiz is a journey of knowledge and self-discovery’
The objective of the Quiz competitions is that the students can do critical thinking and get into a habit of innovative learning. Thus ,our students participated in an interactive avenue, a quiz show-GLOBE TROTTER , hosted by East Point School, Vasundhara Enclave, on 27th August, 2023. The participants from DPS,Sec 122 were Aaditya Bhushan from Class VI and Aayansh Purohit from Class VII. Nine schools participated. The quiz was divided into four rounds namely- identification of the given features, labelling and locating of the given features, beyond book: Audio and Visual round and current affairs .
Our team secured the second position, with 23 scores, whereas the winning team was East Point School with 38 scores.

“Life is a math equation. In order to gain the most, you have to know how to convert the negatives into positives”.
Mathematic competitions play a vital role in motivating the children to excel in different areas of Maths. To explore their aptitude and reasoning ability, Class VI students of DPS 122 participated in TANGENTIA, an Inter-school competition conducted by DPS Sushant Lok- Gurgaon on 15th and 17th December 2022. Around 30 schools with children of class VI onwards participated in a vast array of competitions. All the students participated whole heartedly.

Total number of participating schools- 35 General knowledge is information that has been accumulated over time through various mediums and sources.It excludes specialized learning that can only be obtained with extensive training and information confined to a single medium. It is an essential component of crystallized intelligence and is strongly associated with general intelligence alongwith openness to experience.
Four students of our school got an enriching experience of participating in the interschool online event which was held on MS Teams over a period of three days.The events began on 22nd December with Mock Rounds in which practice of the rounds was provided.On 23rd December Group 1 participated and won the competition with flying colours.On 24th December Group II participated and were part of the best five participants out of the 35 schools who participated in these events.
Selection of the students was done based on a Prelimnary Round while the Final Rouds comprised of four rounds which were- Skillathon,Audio Visual,General Round and Rapid Fire Round.

Delhi Public School, Gurgaon hosted Namaste Deutschland German language Festival, organized by the Goethe Institute. More than 60 schools and 1500 German learners participated in this event.

Competitions play a major role in motivating students to perform, excel and offer a lot more reward than just the winning prize. It also offers a chance for participants to gain substantial experience, showcase skills, analyze and evaluate outcomes and uncover personal aptitude. Keeping this in mind, the students of DPS Noida, Sector -122 participated in ‘TRIUMPH-2022’ an Inter-School Event held at Seth Anandram Jaipuria School, Knowledge Park V on 4th and 5th of November 2022. Around 12 schools participated in this event. Spontaneity and confidence were the hallmark of the competition. The students left everyone awe-struck as they presented their talent so immaculately and effortlessly. They were applauded for their superb performance done with great zeal and made the school proud by winning prizes.

Delhi Public School Vasant Kunj organised an Inter School Cultural Competition named RYDHUN’2023 in which students of Delhi public school ,Sec 122 Noida. participated.The competition was held on 29th April 2023. There were many categories like Solo song,,Group song,,Bollywood nostalgia,,western Band etc. .Aarush joshi of class 7B participated in Bollywood Nostalgia category .He mesmerised the audition with his soulful performance.
